Grand Junction, Colorado

Grand Junction, once called West Denver, has four hospitals, a regional airport, light manufacturing and service industries. The recreational opportunities around Grand Juction are abundant. To the west is Colorado National Monument. The North of Grand Junction is bordered by scenic Mt. Garfield and the bookcliffs. To the south is the Umcompagre Plateau.

Grand Junction has the college campus of Mesa State College.
